Hi, fellow adventurers!

We’re Hiryana and Daniel—three wild-hearted dreamers from Chattanooga, Tennessee, who believe life is best lived outdoors, barefoot, and full of curiosity. Our love story began at Covenant College, where we bonded over a shared love for adventure, deep conversations, and the great outdoors.

Life took us on a whirlwind journey—career changes swept us to Atlanta in 2012, where we tackled new challenges, earned our master’s degrees (Hiryana in Nutrition from Life University and Daniel with an MBA from Mercer), and—best of all—welcomed our little firecracker while there. Parenthood flipped our world upside down (in the best way possible), and we knew city life wasn’t for us. The call of fresh mountain air and open spaces was too strong, so we packed up and headed home to Chattanooga.

But the adventure didn’t stop there. Our wandering souls led us to Nosara, Costa Rica, where we set out to build a life that embraced nature, freedom, and curiosity. But when it came time for Capri’s schooling, we hit a roadblock—nothing fit our vision. We wanted a place where kids could run wild, dig in the dirt, ask a million questions, and learn through experience. A place where getting messy was celebrated and mistakes were just stepping stones to discovery.

So, we did what any adventure-loving, outside-the-box thinkers would do—we created our own school! 🎉

Now, we’re on a mission to bring learning back to its roots—where kids can explore, create, and grow in the heart of nature.
