What is jungle school?
The idea of Jungle (Forest) School was created in Scandinavia long ago. It has been adopted by people around the world as people are in search of an alternative form of education for their precious children.
Jungle school is experiential learning that is a child-centered process, it offers opportunities for holistic growth through weekly classes. Designed as a program that supports academics, play, exploration and supported risk taking. It develops confidence and self-esteem through learner inspired, hands-on experiences in a natural setting.
Jungle School inspires a deep and meaningful connection to the world and an understanding of how a person fits within it. It helps children develop socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually. It creates a safe, nurturing environment for children to try new things and take risks. Our approach to risk means that children constantly expand on their abilities by solving real-world issues, building self-belief and resilience.
We believe that risk is more than just potential for physical harm, but a more holistic thing, there are risks in everything we do, and we grow by overcoming them. Jungle School, helps participants to become, healthy, resilient, creative and independent thinkers and life long learners.
What are the benefits of jungle school?
Jungle schools offer incredible benefits for your child. Jungle schools are naturally focused on hands on learning for all subjects.
